Student Behavior and Conduct:
The aim of school discipline is to teach students to develop self-control and the ability to cooperate with others. Discipline should encourage students to understand the fundamental values that are essential to the well being of both the individual and society and to accept responsibility for the consequences of their actions. In this way, young people can develop the ability to recognize socially acceptable behaviour. It is the goal of St. Gerard School to provide a safe and positive place for students to learn and play. We strive to maintain a Christian environment for the spirital, intellectual, emotional and physical development of every child.
