Kindergarten - Gr.8 studies focus on five common themes throughout the Fully
Alive Program. Content explored is modified for the appropriate age level.
The
five topics are:
Theme
1: Created and Loved by God
The first theme
explores how God made us unique and special, and how everyone has talents
and special gifts. We are created in the image of God, and He loves and
sustains each one of us.
Theme
2: Living in Relationship
This theme explores
family relationships and belonging in a group. Human beings are created to
live in relationships with each other, and this chapter explains how the
bonds of family and friendship are central in our lives, and shape our
identity and development.
Theme
3: Created Sexual – Male and Female
This theme explores
the miracle of new life. In this theme, sexuality is presented as a gift
from God that is intended for life and love.
Theme
4: Growing in Commitment
This theme explores
the importance of decision-making and being responsible. It also discusses
God’s call to faithfulness, and learning to be committed and trustworthy.
Theme
5: Living in the World
This theme explores
our world and the wonderful people in it.
