Which Band should I join?

Beginner Band: for those with no previous experience playing a band instrument

• experience playing for an audience
• enjoy the camaraderie of learning to play in a group setting

Junior Band: for players with 1 - 2 years experience

• develop your technical skills
• explore band repertoire in a variety of styles
• play in at least two public concerts

Concert Band: for players with 3-4 years experience; or those who have taken private lessons for at least one year; or advanced players who have not played for several years

• continue to develop your technical skills
• explore band repertoire in a variety of styles
• play in festivals, public concerts and other performances

Wind Ensemble: for the more advanced player; audition required
