Suggested

-
Introduce
the macromedia flash interface and discuss some of the most common
elements including: The Stage, Timeline, Layers, Toolbar (focus on
drawing tools), Property Inspector, Panels, Frames, and Key Frame.
A small demonstration of drawing tools and concepts used to make a
simple Motion Tween would be beneficial in motivating students and
providing a pre-learning activity.
-
Begin
the first tutorial with the students. Demonstrate how to stop,
start, and rewind the tutorial and shift between flash and tutorial
windows.
-
Hand
out, or have the students open the Flash Project Marking Rubric and
discuss expectations.
-
Have
students complete the three tutorials for evaluation.
-
Students
who complete the tutorials can work on extension projects through
additional tutorial links provided on student page.
-
Have
students complete supplied tutorial for painter 7 for evaluation.
When students have been involved in the tutorial for one period, break
into discussion of evaluation criteria. Have class generate marking
criteria and rubric for this project.
