To the sky
It all started in a galaxy far far away, on the third planet from the sun. It was a beautiful blue planet, inviting like the arms of a parent after being away for too long. The beauty, was, however, deceiving. On that planet live a race of beings surrounded by 37 rings of galactic particles like the rings of an atom. It's been said that each ring is portal to a dark side of the galaxy. This beautiful strange race of beings called the 1st portal the Avani Galaxy ring and carried a small, woven brown sack filled with soil out of respect for its powers. They are the descendants of the Belnar clan and are a threatened race. Chancellor Drod is concerned of the forthcoming prophecy. The rings energy is insidiously strong, yet eerily magical. Whether the prophecy intimated apocalypse or utopia was a matter of controversy among the priests. Drod assumed the worst. Legend says that one of the rings can save them, but which one? Caution: the wrong one is doom. Clues are hidden in the others. There have been many throughout the generations who have made claims to hold the key to the rings, but none dared tempt fate knowing that the true holders of the keys often did so unknowingly. Those claiming powers searched for the Palivati, the unaware keepers of the key awaiting destiny. So when Lakmi, the beekeeper's daughter felt the bees' energy failing, she knew someone was searching, and they were approaching. Lakmi was not afraid, the key was safely hidden away in one of the hives. Lakmi was the chosen Palivati guardian of the powers to unlock the rings secrets. She took this extrordinary task in stride. Being Pavilati was all she has ever known. It was her One True Purpose.
Maggda wake up tired. Another dream. Always the same. Rings, bees & strange key. She learned to ignore them long ago but this time she felt drawn toward the garden. Her neighbour had an orchard and a hive to pollinate it. A good harvest this year. Her thoughts wandered freely this morning and danced from idea to idea humming in the sun. She decided the only way to figure out what she needed to do next was to go the place where it had all started. Under the hive in her garden. She proceeded to place leaves on her eyes as she lay down in her garden underneath, what was sure to be, the answer. As she lay there she started to sleep only to be awakened by the harsh sound of an engine. An unidentifiable ancient automobile came rambling up the drive; a model her mother would've instantly recognized. She missed her. It's been already 10 years since she disappeared. That's when the strange dreams started. Could her mother be somehow involved in... The automobile came to an abrupt stop and a tall, dark and handsome man exited, his dark pentrating eyes roaming in her direction. She stood there frozen, unable to move. She couldn't decide if she should speak or run for her life.
The tall, dark and handsome stranger started towards her, his hands folded over his rugged upper body. "Hello there, sweetheart." The strangers face looked lovingly at Maggda. Don't be afraid, he said. His fingers sparkled with a gold and ruby ring on each finger, all ten of them. He was dressed in loud clothes and pointed shoes. He huskily, tentatively but tenderly, whispered the password - Joomla. But that word, stirring ancient memories deep within Magda, did nothing to reduce her feeling of vulnerability near this stranger. She cleared her throat and answered with trembling voice: Drupal. Will it work? She thought in panic. First time when she heard that password she was six and the exchange was between her grandma and a strange beautiful woman. That was also the last time. The stranger stopped dead in his tracks. He nodded at her knowingly , and she was mesmerized. Suddenly, it was if memory slapped her. Lajmi was the beautiful woman that Magda remembered, should she trust this stranger or turn and run. "I am Pavnu. Come with me" and he held out his hand. Her heart beat wildly as she debated putting her small hand in his.We were waiting for that day for many years, said Pavnu. You scared us last year when you almost drown in the river. Why me? Your name is in the prophecy. Why today? Because it is your sixteen birthday silly! Pavnu bent lower towards her, and from beneath his turquoise collar a worn brown sack on a leather cord dangled. Maggda relaxed. But not for long. What happened in the next few seconds later seemed like hours for her. The swooshing sound cut the air and Pavnu's face changed in to mix of terror and surprise. The white arrow was now sticking out of his chest.Run!He jerked the sack of his neck. Swoosh! Another arrow barely missed Maggda. Take it and run whispered Pavnu. The stream of blood come out of his mouth. Find Lakmi Of course! Lakmi! The Palivati guardian. It was all starting to make sense - dreams, Joomla, Drupal. But where is Lakmi? The sack!
Lakmi had a brother, Plaito, who believed neither apocalypse nor utopia could be brought on by the rings. People ruled their fates. "Isn't it time," he thought to himself, "to stop thinking in rhetorical questions?" Now his C-Tab beeped a message. Hmmm... it was Lakmi. Last he'd heard, she was looking for Avani. "It's time" was all she said. We know what we have to do! There is no turning back! We will survive!
