HOW DO YOU BALANCE A CHEMICAL EQUATION? CHEMICAL EQUATIONS NEED TO BE BALANCE SO THAT YOUR EQUATION REFLECTS THE LAW OF CONSERVATION OF MASS. THE TOTAL MASS OF THE REACTANTS MUST EQUAL THE TOTAL MASS OF THE PRODUCTS.
