Objectives:
- To recognize the various biological processes associated with plant systems.
- To describe the internal and external influences on plant growth.
- To research Saskatchewan's agricultural activity
- To recognize the interconnectedness of agriculture and the environment.
Description:
This unit will focus on the structure and function of the three major organs of a plant as well as the factors that influence plant growth. Crop growth as well as the importance and impact of agriculture in Saskatchewan will also be explored.
Evaluation:
This unit will be worth 15% of your mark in this course. The assignments to be submitted for evaluation will be outlined in each of the module overviews.
