ARE THE SAME. HE OR SHE THEN DESCRIBES HOW THEY ARE DIFFERENT.
- THE
YOUNGER PARTNER REPEATS STEP ONE.

PARTNERS SHARE THEIR SHAPES WITH ANOTHER GROUP OF TWO STUDENTS.
- ALL
FOUR STUDENTS MUST AGREE WITH THE SHAPE CHOICES OF EACH STUDENT
OR WORK TOGETHER TO EXCHANGE FOR A NEW PAIR OF SHAPES THAT ARE
DIFFERENT IN ONLY ONE WAY.

THE
GROUP OF FOUR COMBINES THEIR ATTRIBUTE
BLOCKS.
- ALL
FOUR STUDENTS TAKE TURN CHOOSING
ONE OF THE BLOCKS. BEGIN WITH THE SHORTEST
PERSON. HE OR SHE PLAYS THIS CHOICE ON THE TABLE OR DESK.
- ON
HIS OR HER TURN EACH STUDENT CHOOSES ONE BLOCK THAT IS DIFFERENT
IN ONLY ONE WAY FROM THE LAST BLOCK PLAYED.
THIS NEW BLOCK IS PLACED NEXT TO THE FIRST CREATING A PATHWAY.
THE GAME
CONTINUES UNTIL THE GROUP CREATES A PATHWAY OF FIVE
ATTRIBUTE BLOCKS. TRACE THE FIVE BLOCKS ON A PIECE OF PAPER. |

CHALLENGE!
- PLAY
THE GAME AGAIN. IF A PLAYER BELIEVES HE OR SHE CAN'T PLAY HE OR
SHE TAKES A COUNTER. CONTINUE PLAY UNTIL ALL PLAYERS TAKE A COUNTER
ONE RIGHT AFTER ANOTHER. BEGIN THE GAME AGAIN AND AGAIN CHOOSING
FIRST A BLOCK FROM THE GROUP THAT WAS NOT PLAYED. THEN CONTINUE
THE NEW PATHWAY USING ALL THE BLOCKS.
