December CIF

The CIF should not be a long one for most of you. I appreciate all the positive feedback from the other CIF and like the constructive criticisms it only make this process stronger.

This month we are working on Unit Checklists and Grading clarification.

The December CIF has two activities...

One is a checklist, which is required at the end of each unit...this is just a list of the activities (no real details) that a student needs to complete to be finished a unit.

The second one (rubics) is a more detailed explanation on assignments or any area where a student gets a mark other than a quiz to help the students understand how they will get their mark. These are attached not at the end of units but on the assignment pages.

This page (call it "Grade Checklist") should be added to the end of each of your units or sections so the students will know how their marks are awarded.

Send me an email when you are done. I at that time will look to see that you have an html page called 'Grade Checklist" as the last page in each of your content modules and then and only then will I add a smiley.
