This unique program, based at St. Edward School, presents the curriculum through place-based, environmental and social justice perspectives. It is open to students who will be in Grade 8 next year. Applications are available at GSCS elementary schools or on the EcoJustice website. Application deadline is May 8.

2015-2016 school year approved by trustees
Trustees have approved the 2015-2016 school year calendar for Saskatoon. First day of classes is Tuesday, Sept. 1. There are week-long breaks in February and at Easter. The calendars below have been updated to include professional learning days for teachers, which are days away from school for students. Calendars for Humboldt and Biggar will be posted when they are available.

Oskāyak High School wins 2014 Premier's Award for Innovation and Excellence in Education

Budget includes funds for projected enrolment increase
Trustees have passed the division's 2015-2016 operating and capital budget. It includes an additional $830,000 to support students with special needs and nearly $2 million to help serve the division's projected enrolment growth. Read more about the budget in this news release.
